Reputation Top

In May 2009 Stenders scored the 13th among other large international companies and even concerns in the annual Reputation Top organised by the PR company Nord Porter Novelli in co-operation with the most influential newspaper Diena. This year Stenders has scored very highly, moving up from the 25th place in 2008 to the 13th in 2009.

The competitors of the Reputation Top undergo assessment by a team of 58 experts, including heads of companies, lecturers of higher educational establishments and even the Finance Minister. The competitors are also elected in polls conducted among 400 companies and 1000 residents of Latvia.

In the reputation top by sectors Stenders acquired the first place in the chemistry sector and was rated the 7th greenest company. Experts comment on this achievement as follows: „The Stenders’ products have won popularity not just in Latvia but also outside its borders and have gained the highest rating from experts in the category „products and services”.  This year entrepreneurs gave the highest rating to the success of Stenders, singling out their preference for an interesting and innovative business idea and the company’s ability to successfully and strategically manage the business under difficult economic circumstances. Stenders has attracted high evaluation due to the quality of its products and expansion of exports.”
